01

Company Overview

Harvest Nex is a Türkiye-based international business development, market-entry strategy and project consultancy company. Africa is our principal growth geography, and Nigeria is a priority market within our engagement in West Africa.

We connect African public institutions, private enterprises, investors, producer organizations and development partners with Türkiye's manufacturing capacity, sector expertise and technology providers. Our work is designed to convert defined needs and market opportunities into commercially sound partnerships, structured investments and implementable development projects.

Our activities cover agriculture, agricultural technologies, food processing, post-harvest management, food storage, animal husbandry, poultry, fisheries, aquaculture, education, professional training, institutional capacity development, international project development and specialized consultancy services.

Technical missions, institutional meetings and business delegations form part of this broader development model. We use them to assess needs, demonstrate relevant capabilities, support direct negotiations and prepare the ground for technology transfer, investment, procurement and long-term cooperation.

02

Strategic Focus on Africa

Africa's growing population, expanding consumer markets and considerable agricultural potential are creating demand for modern production systems, processing capacity, storage infrastructure, technical skills and investment. Sustainable market entry, however, depends on an accurate understanding of local priorities, institutional structures, commercial practices and implementation conditions.

Harvest Nex helps its partners work through these requirements. We combine market intelligence, sector knowledge, institutional engagement and access to Turkish industry to develop practical routes into African markets. We aim to ensure that proposed technologies and business models are relevant to local needs, financially realistic and capable of operating under local conditions.

Gateway to West Africa

Nigeria is an important gateway for our wider engagement in West Africa. Our work with Nigerian institutions and state-level delegations has strengthened our understanding of agricultural priorities, public-sector decision-making, commercial expectations and demand for technology, training and investment partnerships.

03

Our Role and Services

Harvest Nex provides the following functions for public- and private-sector partners:

  • International business development and partnership formation
  • Market-entry and market-access strategy
  • Market intelligence and opportunity assessment
  • Commercial and institutional stakeholder engagement
  • Technology-transfer and investment cooperation
  • Large-scale agricultural and rural-development project design
  • International project development and consultancy
  • Training and institutional capacity-development programmes
  • Coordination of technical missions and decision-maker engagement

Our responsibility does not end with an introduction between a buyer and a supplier. We assess the underlying need, identify appropriate partners and technologies, develop a cooperation model and support stakeholders as an opportunity moves towards negotiation, investment and implementation.

04

Sector Expertise

Agriculture and Agricultural Technologies

We support agricultural modernization through machinery, mechanization systems, precision-agriculture tools, smart irrigation, greenhouse technologies, digital agriculture, artificial-intelligence applications and climate-smart production practices. Our work focuses on technologies that can improve productivity, use resources more efficiently and strengthen operational resilience.

Food Processing and Technologies

Harvest Nex facilitates access to food-processing machinery, production lines, packaging systems, quality-control solutions and integrated processing facilities. We support investments that add value to agricultural products and strengthen the link between production, processing and markets.

Food Storage and Post-Harvest Management

We develop opportunities in warehousing, cold-chain infrastructure, refrigerated storage and transport, silos, grain-management systems, sorting, grading, packaging, preservation and traceability. These solutions can reduce product losses, protect quality, improve market access and support food security.

Animal Husbandry

Our services cover livestock-production technologies, housing, feeding systems, milking equipment, animal health, farm management and integrated livestock-development models. We consider productivity, animal welfare, disease prevention, processing requirements and market access within the same development framework.

Poultry

We support poultry-sector development through production facilities, hatchery systems, feeding and watering technologies, farm equipment, biosecurity, processing, cold-chain management and professional training.

Fisheries and Aquaculture

Harvest Nex draws on specialized sector experience to support aquaculture investment planning, farm design, production systems, equipment selection, fish health, feed efficiency, processing, preservation and cold-chain development. We also design training and capacity-development initiatives for sustainable fisheries and aquaculture.

Education, Training and Capacity Development

Technology produces lasting results only when institutions, technical personnel and producers have the knowledge to use it effectively. We therefore design programmes for public institutions, farmers, producer organizations, agricultural businesses, technical personnel, entrepreneurs, women-led enterprises and young professionals. Programmes may combine classroom instruction, practical demonstrations, field activities, technical visits, peer learning and institutional exchange.

05

International Project Development

Harvest Nex develops projects in agricultural modernization, food security, value-chain development, mechanization, climate-smart agriculture, rural development, youth and women's entrepreneurship, livestock, poultry, aquaculture, food processing, post-harvest management, vocational education, digital transformation, technology transfer and institutional strengthening.

Our Working Approach

We begin by understanding the need and the conditions in which a proposed solution will operate. This prevents technology selection or commercial engagement from being separated from local production realities, financing capacity and implementation requirements.

  1. 1

Assess the local need, market opportunity and institutional environment.

  2. 2

Define the commercial, technical or development objective.

  3. 3

Identify qualified technologies, companies and institutional partners.

  4. 4

Design an appropriate market-entry or cooperation strategy.

  5. 5

Establish direct engagement between decision-makers and solution providers.

  6. 6

    Facilitate technical and commercial discussions.

  7. 7

Clarify stakeholder responsibilities, expected results and implementation conditions.

  8. 8

Develop financing, delivery, monitoring and sustainability frameworks.

  9. 9

Support progress towards an actionable partnership, investment or project.

Experience in Türkiye and Africa Cooperation

Harvest Nex has developed practical experience in facilitating cooperation between Nigerian institutions and Türkiye's agriculture, food, manufacturing, technology and professional-training sectors. These engagements brought public decision-makers, technical specialists and Turkish companies together around defined commercial and development priorities.

September 2024 Nigeria

Industrial Training Fund Engagement

Harvest Nex engaged with Nigeria's Industrial Training Fund to explore cooperation in vocational education, professional training, technical skills and institutional capacity development. The engagement helped identify areas in which Turkish institutions and technical partners could contribute to workforce development in Nigeria. It also reinforced our view that technology transfer must be supported by the skills and institutional capacity required for effective operation.
