What we collect
Through the Business Request panel we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, position, business email and telephone; organization details; the description of your requirement; budget, funding source and funding status; decision-making and mandate information; and any documents you upload. We do not ask for — and you should never submit — passwords, online-banking credentials, full payment-card information or other security credentials.
Why we use it
We use this information to evaluate your business request, assess potential cooperation, contact you about it and, where appropriate and proportionate, carry out business-integrity, KYC, sanctions, counterparty and source-of-funds checks before entering into a commercial relationship.
Legal basis
We process your data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, for our legitimate interest in assessing business opportunities responsibly, and to comply with legal obligations. Marketing updates are sent only if you tick the separate optional consent box, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. It is shared only with service providers that host or deliver our website and email, and with authorities where the law requires it. If a provider processes data outside your country, we use appropriate safeguards.
Retention
Requests that do not proceed are deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period. Where a commercial relationship follows, records are kept for as long as required by applicable law.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to a data-protection authority.
